You want to follow in Jesus' footsteps---but what exactly should that look like in everyday life? In this study, The Walk, we will take a look at five essential practices modeled in Christ's own walk with God and reinforced throughout the New Testament. Discover the transformational power of worship, study, serving, giving, and bearing witness to your faith.
As we enter the season of Lent, this study will give us the opportunity to dive into a deeper relationship with Jesus. We will also be using these same themes for Sunday morning worship and preaching throughout the Lenten season. As well, there will be a prayer journal available for your personal use.
Please join us beginning Sunday, February 21, 2021 at 10:30 for worship and then on Wednesday, February 24th for the study. The study will be held at 5:30 via Zoom. Please email or text Pastor Cindy to let her know if you want to join us on Zoom. cpax0603@gmail.com If you aren't familiar with Zoom, we can arrange someone to teach you before the study begins.

We are a community of imperfect people who are seeking and worshiping a perfect God. We are a people of faith that seeks and desires to follow God and God’s ways.
The love of Jesus motivates us to reach out to the world around us, loving others with the love that comes from God Himself. We seek to be disciples and make disciples. We do this through being a people who pray, who worship, who give, who serve and who seek to have an authentic witness. We are all on the journey of faith. Come…let us journey together
We are a local congregation of the United Methodist Church. This church has a long history of an active, Christian presence in Morristown which has been and continues to be involved in our community and world.
Thirty-four years before Hamblen County was organized, in 1836, a local group of people built a log cabin somewhere approximately 200 yards from Panther Springs. That cabin was appropriately named Panther Springs Methodist Church. The church was used for over a hundred years but has since been moved to accommodate the growth. We are now located at 4555 Andrew Johnson Hwy, Morristown, Tennessee.
As we are one of the oldest congregations in Morristown, we celebrate the richness in our tradition and heritage, but also strive to expand our experience by adapting and changing to meet the needs of our community and world today. All who desire to grow in the grace and knowledge of the love of Christ are welcome to join us on the journey.
If you are considering a new place of worship or a relocating to our area, we would love to have you be our guest.
